Group Training

Outdoor group training is a great way to have fun out in the fresh air with friends, while doing exercise. It is a great way for you and your friends to increase your fitness and lose weight, while most importantly you get motivation and encouragement from both the trainer and friends.

It is similar to a 'boot camp' format, but less aggressive than what you would expect from such a session. Depending on the group, the sessions can be fun and light hearted, or serious with an intense workload, but at the end of the day it is up to the individual how hard they want to work.

Our outdoor group sessions are conducted at Broadbeach in Kurrawa park. The session is a fun and energetic 60 minutes for all fitness levels, as your fitness will be assessed and monitored throughout the session.

Group sessions have a variety of elements, but typically they involve: 

  • Warm up & down - walking, jogging, skipping, stretches.
  • Calisthenics or bodyweight strength exercises - Push ups, squats, tricep dips, and more.
  • Aerobic cardio training - Boxing, skipping, hill runs, soft sand running, shuttle runs, and more.
  • Core strength training - Static holds, sit ups, and more.
  • Lots of fun and good times with friends while being out in the open air!

To help us to track your progress, group modules are run in 4 week blocks, with 3 sessions each week. We do some strength and fitness testing at the beginning, so you can see your improvement at the end of the course.

Group sessions start from $12 per one hour session. You can form a group and book your own regular time, or register your interest and we'll let you know when the next group module starts. Group sizes can range from 4 to 8 people.
